Hello.
This is the first blog post on this blogspot link. I didn't know that blogger would decide to use your location and make a specific domain based on it, but that's that and I don't think there is a way to change it.
To clear things up: no, I am not exactly situated in the United Kingdom. I am, other than studies, in one way related to the United Kingdom. I do not have a British accent. I do not use British spelling. I don't know anything about Britain, its politics, or its currency. I'm sure three years of studying here would change that, but as of the time of writing, I am still rather clueless.
The only reason why I have this blogspot link is mostly to claim it, as well as see what the fuss is all about. As of right now, composing my first post for it, I can see that it is -- aesthetically and function-wise -- inferior to WordPress. However, fret not, I have a WordPress already.
You can see, if you click on the WordPress link, that I have been using WordPress for a time and there are certainly more posts there. However, they are more of a personal level and as I don't want to leave this site to just gather dust, I want to use this as a way to document my writing process instead of personal process.
I also have a Tumblr, which is also a type of blog website. It has, of course, graduated more to just a website for blogs, so I don't think writing processes would be appropriate to be on there. I mainly use my Tumblr for shits and giggles, and to actually post my work up in order to advertise it, as there are more people surfing Tumblr than there are people, say, on here.
In order to announce things, I need to have an audience. I already have a Tumblr account that I gained quite an impressing following on as I used to post content based on the couple I am still writing for, hence why it is the best place to announce new works.
Please take the time to check out my Tumblr as well. At least it and WordPress don't take advantage of the geolocation and fuck you over with a permanently wrong domain name.
Get writing, get inspired,
-redskiez.
